Double Trouble van het Moerhof is an interestingly bred pony foal with a proven sport stallion as sire, crossed with a top BRp dam line. His sire is the BRp elite stallion Konquistador van Orchids (°2011), who was approved as a breeding stallion by BRp in 2014. This son of Kanshebber caused a furore in sports. Some of his highlights: vice champion at the BRp showjumping competition in Mechelen (2015), winner of a contest showjumping and dressage for young ponies in East Flanders (2016), bronze at the provincial championship D-middle in East Flanders (2017), successfully jumping at the age of six at 1m20 level (end 2017), international CSI debut at 1m25 level (2018) and later also at 1m30 level.
Double Trouble’s dam is the four-year-old Wikske Dwerse Hagen. Double Trouble’s granddam, Farnes van de Groenheuvel, is the icing on the cake. She is an elite mare, belongs to BRp lineage 009 and is known as the dam of the approved elite stallion Kadans van de Groenheuvel (jumped internationally) and Mystique van het Klavertje (conformation and performance label, champion of the day ‘Grote Maat’ in 2013, plus showjumping at 1m10 national level), as well as the granddam of the approved Skywalker van het Klavertje (showjumping LRV C L-class 90cm). And so, we can go on and on. A top lineage!
Double Trouble van het Moerhof has a very good trot and canter, pure and with tact. He moves light-footed and with equilibrium.
