PEDIGREE HIGHLIGHTS

An Arezzo VDL embryo with Olympic blood in the dam line! The sire of this embryo, the KWPN ‘preferent’ stallion Arezzo VDL, showed at a young age that top performance blood flows through his veins. As a 3-year-old he became champion of the performance test, in 2010 he won the final of the Dutch championship for 5-year-old showjumpers (5th in the final classification) and in 2012 he ranked 4th at the World Championship for 7-year-olds in Lanaken. Afterwards, Arezzo was successful in the international tour. In partnership with Jessica Kürten, Arezzo won the GP of Odense and several five-star classes. Subsequently, Jur Vrieling wrote a sequel to Arezzo’s international success story, including victories in London, Helsinki and ’s Hertogenbosch, amongst others. As a supplier of excellent showjumpers Arezzo is putting his stamp. He occupies 47th place in the WBFSH sire ranking, thanks to performers such as Julius.D, VDL Edgar M, Harwich VDL, I Know and Picobello Jasmine.

The dam of the embryo, Fee de Topaline, makes part of BWP dam line 11, so to speak an Olympic lineage, thanks to Jus De Pomme (individual gold and team gold in Atlanta, 1996), Quintus (Hong Kong, 2008) and Tresor D’Opaline (Hong Kong, 2008), all three BWP ambassadors. Topaline, the dam of Fee de Topaline, is a full sister to Tresor D’Opaline and produced, amongst others, the BWP elite dams Brindine and Coline, as well as the international GP horse Maestro de Brandegem. As a broodmare, Fee de Topaline has repeatedly underlined her inestimable value. She produced several international showjumpers, such as Jack the Ripper 111, Don Corleone 111 Z (also approved as a breeding stallion), Opaline VD Caatshoeve and Kalvados Keros.
