PEDIGREE HIGHLIGHTS

This embryo unites top progenitor Toulon with Kirby de Muze (BWP dam line 34), a mare who herself jumped at international 1m50 level. BWP ambassador Toulon experienced numerous highlights in international showjumping, such as victory in the 5* GCT GP in Sao Paulo, the second place in the prestigious 5* GP in Calgary and the fourth place in the 5* GCT GP in Valkenswaard, each time in partnership with Hubert Bourdy. Not only Bourdy, but also Wilm Vermeir has played an important role in Toulon’s successful sporting career. We quote Luc Tilleman: “The descendants of Toulon usually have a big heart in the course and are easy to ride. They are not spooky.” In the WBFSH sire ranking, Toulon occupies 6th place, thanks to a series of top showjumpers, such as IQ van het Steentje, Tornado VS, L’Artiste de Toxandra, Delux van T&L and Toulayna.

Kirby de Muze, the dam of the embryo, was successful in international show jumping. In partnership with Marit Haarr Skollerud, she became 2nd in the Derby in Drammen, 7th in a 1m45 class in Saint-Tropez and 10th in a 5* 1m40 class in Oslo. She is a full sister to a series of international performers including Nimrod de Muze (5*, 1m60 level, Pedro Veniss), Morfine de Muze (5*, 1m60 level, Rik Hemeryck), Kokaine van Eeckelgem (5*, 1m45 level, Rachel Cornacchia) and Kigali vd Bisschop (1m45 level). Kirby is also a half-sister to the BWP elite stallion Levis de Muze (has been performing at 1m60 level for years in the 5* circuit under the saddle of Ioli Mytilineou), Kitona de Muze (1m60 level), Litchi de la Linière (1m45 level and dam of the BWP approved stallions Risk de la Linière and Reborn de Muze) and the BWP approved stallion Nesquick de la Linière. Their dam, Heroine de Muze, was particularly successful in the 5* circuit (1m60 level) and is a great-granddaughter of the legendary Qerly Chin.
