He could jump extremely and had a super attitude. His descendants usually also have a very good attitude.”, says Roelof Bril, who has ridden Tangelo up to and including international Grand Prix 1m60 level. Tangelo passes on hardness, scope, a lot of quality in the legs and a good character. Moreover, his offspring is easy to ride. The dam of this embryo is none other than Jasmijn van ’t Eigenlo, a Diamant de Semilly daughter with whom Christine and Jonathan Mc Crea have performed at international four-and five-star level. Jasmijn is a full sister to Mi Amor van ’t Eigenlo (successful for many year under the saddle of Evelyne Putters and active in the USA since August 2023) and a half-sister to, amongst others, BWP elite stallion O’Neill van ’t Eigenlo (BWP champion stallion and today successful in the four- and five-star circuit, in partnership with Willem Greve), the 5* GP and World Cup horse Koko van ’t Eigenlo, Oilily van ’t Eigenlo (1m55 level, Paul O’Shea) and Ornella van ’t Eigenlo (performs at 1m45 level).
