PEDIGREE HIGHLIGHTS
The sire of Jiosco du Jaolas carries top Holstein performance blood, from Cantus and Landgraf I. His sire, Carinjo HDC, can look back on a rich sport career at the highest level. He won for instance the 5* GP of Oslo, the Nations Cup of Rotterdam and Falsterbo, and ranked 2nd in the prestigious GP of Aachen, 2nd in the GP of Lausanne, 2nd in the GP of Donetsk, etc. A large number of descendants perform very well in the international 1m60 circuit from his relatively limited production.
Via his dam, Sonate de Grandry, Jiosco du Jaolas carries the coveted showjumping blood of the top progenitor Kannan. Sonate’s dam, Grace de Grandry, produced the showjumper Topaz de Grandry (5*, 1m45 level). Further in the dam line we find some more showjumpers, amongst them Ulysse de Granderie (4*, 1m60 level) and Philomene de Grandry (1m40 to 1m45 level).
