PEDIGREE HIGHLIGHTS

How often does one get the chance to buy a daughter of BWP ambassador Bamako de Muze, crossed with one of the BWP top dam lines, the lineage of Qerly Chin? Seldom. This is possible thanks to the BWP Young Horses Auction. Sunbeam-M van Kattenheye’s sire is none other than Bamako de Muze. Bamako was successful for many years in the international showjumping scene, up to and including five-star level. His offspring are coveted for their scope and fantastic competition mentality and have earned him 44th place in the WBFSH sire ranking. Some Bamako offspring performing at the highest level: Don Juan van de Donkhoeve (team silver at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, Jessica Springsteen), the BWP elite stallion Kasanova de la Pomme (5*, Koen Vereecke), Lector VD Bisschop (5*, Koen Vereecke), Sea Coast Monalisa van ’t Paradijs (5*, Gudrun Patteet) and Cacacha van het Schaeck (Max Sebrechts).

Through her dam, La Toya de la Pomme, Sunbeam-K belongs to the coveted BWP dam line 34. La Toya’s dam, Hermione de la Pomme, performed at international 1m45 level and produced the approved stallions Tres Bien (1m45 level, Joseph Clayton) and Hotspot (in 2019 4th in the final of the WC for seven-year-olds and nowadays jumping in the four-star circuit). Through her dam Sauterelle de la Pomme (who jumped at 5* level), Hermione is a full sister to Naturelle VH Legitahof (in 2021 team gold and individual 2nd at the European Championship for Juniors and in 2022 team gold at the European Championship for Young Riders) and a half-sister to performers, such as Vagabond de la Pomme, Ceasar de la Pomme and Vigoureuse de la Pomme.
