PEDIGREE HIGHLIGHTS

Thanks to Ube VD Bisschop, one can buy a son from the limited and coveted offspring of Comme d’Api VD Hacienda Z, crossed with a dam who already produced an approved BWP stallion and who is a half-sister to the acclaimed, 5* GP stallion Mumbai van de Moerhoeve. Comme d’Api was successful in the international showjumping scene for many years. In partnership with Daniel Deusser, this stallion achieved several top ten places in the five-star circuit. A series of successful showjumpers were born from the limited production of Comme d’Api, amongst them Hello Mr President (5*-circuit, Scott Brash), Comme One Z (1m45-1m50 level, Leonie Peeters), Wedding Crasher (3*, 1m45 level, Aiko Paridaen) and Cima di Castella B Z (1m40-1m45 level).

Ube has also been bred very interestingly on his dam’s side. His dam, In Love JW Van De Moerhoeve, produced already the BWP approved stallion Sparkling JW - Van De Moerhoeve. Her dam, Ischgl de Muze, is known as the dam of the BWP elite stallion Mumbai van de Moerhoeve (who won gold last year at the Nations Cups of Aachen and Sopot, as well as the 5* GP in Rome and the 5* GCT/GCL 1m55 classes in Miami and London) and the approved sport stallion Opium JW van de Moerhoeve (in 2019 and 2021 finalist at the World Championship for young showjumpers and since March 2022 successful at 1m45 to 1m50 level). Ube’s dam line is a succession of top performance blood. Ube’s great-granddam, Eureka van ’t Roosakker, achieved top performances at the highest level (5*, Maikel van der Vleuten).
