The BWP elite stallion El Barone 111 was already very promising at a young age. As a six- and seven-year-old he became vice champion of the stallion competition. Since 2021 we can watch the performances of this son of BWP ambassador Emerald van ‘t Ruytershof in the international five-star circuit, under the saddle of Malin Baryard-Johnsson.
Unbelievable also inherited a good dose of performance blood from his dam line. His dam, Olimpia de Marchesana, jumped well in Italy as a young horse. Mariell de Marchesana, a half-sister to Olimpia, performed at 1m40 level. The dam of both mares is called Icarita, a daughter of the progenitor Zeus. Erita, a full sister to Icarita, produced Obero M, who won the World Cup classes in Syracuse (USA) and Green Cove Springs (USA) under the saddle of Darragh Kenny, placed 11th in the 5* GP of St. Gall, ranked 3rd in the 5* Nations Cup in Rome, etc. Farita, a full sister to Erita and Icarita, is the dam of Vancouver (5*, 1m45 level) and the granddam of the international showjumpers Abceetje P.S. and Elitha P.S.
