The BWP elite stallion El Barone 111 was already very promising at a young age. As a six- and seven-year-old he became vice champion of the stallion competition. Since 2021 we can watch the performances of this son of BWP ambassador Emerald van ‘t Ruytershof in the international five-star circuit, under the saddle of Malin Baryard-Johnsson.
Duchesse VD Middelstede, the dam of Undercover VD Middelstede, is a BWP elite dam with whom Nick Adriaensen jumped in LRV Z class. According to Nick, Duchesse was “a very supple, careful horse with a lot of quality and good movements.” Via Duchesse, Undercover makes part of the top BWP dam line 107. This lineage includes several international showjumpers (such as Domino van de Middelstede (5*, Jos Verlooy), Torinto van de Middelstede (Guy Williams) and even the Olympic horse Grand Cru van de Rozenberg) and approved stallions, amongst them Opium, Royal Blue, Orini and Oxford van de Middelstede.
