PEDIGREE HIGHLIGHTS

Thanks to Uruguay 28, one can become the owner of a son of Amadeo van ‘t Vossenhof, crossed with a young mare from the coveted BWP dam line 104. Amadeo has a strong pedigree and a correct model. During his approval as a breeding stallion, he showed a lot of suppleness and natural showjumping ability. In partnership with Frédéric Vernaet, the stallion has performed up to and including international four-star level. The 10-year-old Amadeo already has four approved sons: Sammy van de Kruishoeve, Sugar Daddy van de Axelhoeve, Toby van de Barlebuis and Tout De Suite van ’t Hof Te Ruyte. Who knows, we may add Uruguay 28 to this list.

Uruguay 28 also inherited a good dose of performance blood through his dam line. His granddam, Vipsy, is a rare pearl. Luc Geerts: “I rode Vipsy until she was six years old. When she was five years old, I participated at the cycle with her. In the cycle she remained eight times faultless in eight participations. The descendants of this typical Darco daughter jump very efficiently and have a very good competition mentality. They are usually clear round jumpers.” In combination with three different sires, Vipsy produced the BWP approved stallion Bonapart (3*, 1m55 level) and the international showjumpers Kamilo V/D Broekkant (5* level) and Loksly V/D Broekkant (1m50 level). This BWP dam line 104 also includes some more international showjumpers, such as Gentleman (5*, Karel Cox), the World Cup horse Kabisto (4*, Omid Gharibi), Javenia (4*, Stephanie Andries) and Andor (5*, Alfonso Salguero Rebolledo). Good blood never lies!
