PEDIGREE HIGHLIGHTS

Uvex-K van Kattenheye is a son of BWP ambassador ASB Conquistador (ex-Bush van de Heffinck, BWP dam line 13), crossed with a dam who previously produced a 5* showjumper. ASB Conquistador has achieved success on the international five-star circuit, mainly under the saddle of Karl Cook. From the very limited offspring of Conquistador, a series of horses come to the fore, such as Celso (1m60 level, Jessica Barton) and the WEG-Tryon participants Oaks Redwood (5*, 1m60 level, Nayel Nassar) and Yandoo Oaks Constellation (5*, 1m60 level, Jamie Kermond). Conquistador passes on, amongst other things, a very good use of the back, a good character and excellent showjumping qualities.

Uvex-K not only carries the performance blood of the coved BWP dam line 13 via his sire, but also via his dam, Elite van de Wellington. Elite lives up to her name. After all, she is known as the dam of the international GP horse Jack van ’t Kattenheye, with whom both Ellen Whitaker and Erynn Ballard have won 1m50 to 1m60 classes in 5* competitions. This lineage includes numerous top showjumpers, including Halifax van het Kluizebos (5*, Lorenzo de Luca), Quel Homme VD Heffinck (5*, René Tebbel), Infernape VD Caatshoeve (3*, Mykhailo Pilipenko), Lanzarote de Muze (4*, Francisco Rocha), Daedalus van T&L (5*, Michael Whitaker), Britt de la Vie (5*, Daniel Deusser) and Grand Cru VD Vijf Eiken (5*, Vanessa Mannix).
