Vanitas van Horst is a nice looking filly with an attractive head and much expression. Her legs are correct. She moves in a very supple way and can connect very well in trot and canter.
Thanks to Vanitas van Horst one can actually become the owner of a filly by the very popular top progenitor Conthargos. He is a rising star in the WBFSH sire ranking for the best suppliers of showjumpers worldwide. In this ranking he occupies the 31st place, thanks to a long list of international top performers, such as the full sisters Concona and Contara, as well as Cosa Nostra, Conbelleza, Concollon, Pia Contra, Conchento and many others. The descendants of Conthargos are noble. In general, they also inherit size, good movements and showjumping qualities from him.
The dam of Vanitas, Ithaca, won the BWP national foal championship in 2008. Six years later she was crowned ‘day champion’ at the BWP national conformation championship for dams. She has the BWP performance and conformation label. Ithaca obtained the performance label in dressage based on her results in classes for young horses, in partnership with Martine Michiels. That is not the only achievement of Ithaca. Under the saddle of Paul Scheirs, she jumped at LRV Z level.
