Vasco v. ’t Recht Eind is a son of BWP ambassador Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve. Do we still need to introduce Tangelo? “Tangelo was a very good horse. He had a super showjumping technique. He could jump extremely and had a super attitude. His descendants usually also have a very good attitude.”, says Roelof Bril, who has ridden Tangelo up to and including international Grand Prix 1m60 level. Tangelo passes on hardness, scope, a lot of quality in the legs and a good character. Moreover, his offspring is easy to ride. Tangelo produced many showjumpers performing at the very highest level, such as Scuderia 1918 Tobago, Darry Lou and Hermelien van de Hooghoeve. In the most recent WBFSH sire ranking he occupies 45th place.
Vasco’s dam, Galanta V. ’t Recht Eind, is by BWP ambassador Toulon, 6th in the WBFSH ranking of the best suppliers of showjumpers in the world. Galanta produced, amongst others, Ravissante van ’t Recht Eind, who won bronze as a foal at the Antwerp Foal Championship. Galanta is a full sister to Jazier v. ’t Recht Eind, with whom Derin Demirsoy jumped at international 1m45 level. This breeding family also includes several showjumpers from the 5* circuit, such as Djario VD Ruitershoeve and Elandor van de Citadel.
