Andre Leemans, the founder of this studfarm, bred out of Draisienne (BWP dam line 21) in 1984 Himalaya and two years later Jessica. Both dams separately form a very strong branch in his line and are both anchored in Riesling’s pedigree: Jessica is the granddam of Iron Man van de Padenborre (the sire of Riesling), while Himalaya is Riesling’s great-granddam.
