PEDIGREE HIGHLIGHTS

Vleut (alias Guccio), the sire of Whiskey In The Jar VDV, has played a leading role in the international five-star showjumping scene for years, in partnership with Edwina Tops-Alexander, Maikel van der Vleuten and Abdullah Waleed Alsharbatly. Some of his highlights: winner of the Masters in Lyon, 2nd in the 4* GP in La Coruña, 3rd in the 5* GCT GP in Monte Carlo, 3rd in the World Cup class in Donetsk and 4th in the Rolex Top 10 Final in Paris. Vleut had the sharpness of Quick Star, the scope of Cantus and a granddam (Jikke) who was extremely successful at international 5* level. Vleut passes on his showjumping qualities and produced a series of performers from the 1m60 circuit, such as De Vleut, Edinburgh, Charming Force B and Victoria.

Whiskey In The Jar is not only blessed with top performance blood on the sire’s side. In the dam line we detect several successful showjumpers, amongst them the 5* showjumpers Visage van de Olmenhoeve and Blue Sky van de Olmenhoeve, the 2* GP horse Great Miracle and Don Corleone (4*, 1m45 level). Did you know that Lincoln, with whom Stefaan De Smet won individual silver and team gold at the European Championship eventing in Hooge Mierde, also belongs to this dam line?

Whiskey is a foal that has a good rectangular model, standing over a lot of ground. He shows a very good trot and canter, with a lot of balance.
