PEDIGREE HIGHLIGHTS
The sire of Wahida V/D Heffinck is GFE Candy de Nantuel, a son by Luidam (multiple five-star Nations Cup- and GP winner, Billy Twomey) out of Thara Nantuel, a Diamant de Semilly daughter who performed at 1m50 level. In partnership with Pénélope Leprevost, the 10-year-old Candy de Nantuel fully lives up to his pedigree in the international four- and five-star circuit. He passes on suppleness, a super canter and a lot of showjumping qualities.
Pippa van de Veldhoek, the dam of Wahida V/D Heffinck, is by Kafka VD Heffinck (winner of the 5* GP in Athens) out of Elegance van de Veldhoek (a full sister to Filline van de Veldhoek, in 2012 finalist at the World Championship for 7-year-olds in Lanaken). Pippa’s granddam, the BWP elite dam Musharat, produced the international showjumpers Azzaro van de Veldhoek (1m50 level) and Jezebel van de Veldhoek (1m40 to 1m45 level, Dries Goossens) in addition to Filline. Top showjumpers such as Igor van de Wittemoere (with whom Nayel Nassar was successful during the Olympic Games in Tokyo), Millar van de Faunushoeve (5*, Matias Larocca) and Hassan VD Wittemoere (5*, Rodrigo Giesteira Almeida) belong, just like the auction foal Wahida V/D Heffinck to the BWP line 63.
Wahida V/D Heffinck has a correct top line with good muscling, as well as correct legs with good length and proportions. The walk is sufficient. Wahida trots with a lot of tact and can accelerate easily. She can also canter well and change easily.
