Thanks to Woody van ’t Koningsbos you can become the owner of a descendant from the very limited offspring of Cornet du Lys. This son by Cornet Obolensky out of the sports dam Chablis du Lys (1m55 level, Denise Sulz) performed at a high level for many years in the international four- and five-star circuit, in partnership with his Argentine rider José Maria Larocca Jr. Some of his highlights: participation at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, victory in the San Giovanni di Marignano GP, 5th in the 5* GP in Barcelona and 4th in the Pan-American Games. Because of his long sporting career, the grey stallion was used very limited in breeding. His offspring seems to be very promising.
Through his dam line, Woody makes part of the BWP line 22. His dam, A Malines van de Emmahoeve, already gave her business card in breeding as the dam of the approved stallion Top Gun van ’t Koningsbos. Woody could actually be her next approved son Ulrike van het Lambroeck adds value to Woody’s pedigree. She is the dam of the international showjumpers Allouette VH Lambroeck and Donatelle van het Lambroeck, as well as the granddam of Florette van het Lambroeck (5*, Edwina Tops-Alexander). Florette in turn produced the performers Kaiser van het Lambroeck and Itchy van het Lambroeck. In short, a dam line with a lot of sport and performance in width and therefore success guaranteed.
Woody van ’t Koningsbos is a long-legged, long-lined foal with sufficient appearance, correct conformation of the legs with good joints. He moves with a lot of space. He has a strong canter and can change easily.
